Trans Teens Connect!

We are once again offering a social group for neurodivergent trans teens who struggle with social anxiety! Our first two rounds of this group were so much fun we decided to offer it again! We are facilitating an 8-week IN PERSON space for social connection for neurodivergent transgender teens aged 14-17. This space will be an opportunity for these young adults to practice initiating social contact with peers in a gender-affirming, highly structured environment that celebrates neurodiversity. We are building this space with neurodivergence in mind, providing multiple options for levels of engagement based on participants’ comfort and desire.

Requirements for those interested in participating are:
  • Must identify as transgender or gender-expansive/non-binary
  • Be between ages 14-17
  • Be currently engaged in individual mental health therapy
  • Be vaccinated against COVID-19 and able to wear a mask in the group
  • Be able to join the group in-person
  • Be able to commit to participating in the full 8-weeks of the group
  • NO formal diagnosis of neurodivergence is necessary!! If when reading this description you feel like this group would be helpful for you, reach out!!

Dates:
Tuesday from 6-7:15pm
Jan 23 and 30, Feb 6, 13 and 27, March 5, 12 and 19

Location:
2207 NE 65th St Suite 204
