Jaya Ramesh is a cis, immigrant, settler, neurodivergent, woman of color, with caste, class, and education privileges. I currently live on the unceded lands of the Duwamish peoples. My passions include creating liberatory healing and learning spaces and working to disentangle from and dismantle systems of oppression, including supporting organizations on becoming more equitable and anti-oppressive and teaching as an adjunct faculty at Antioch University. In my private practice, I support interracial, intercultural, and neurodivergent couples in finding connection. I see myself as a truth teller and facilitator with a passion for unlocking the stories that live deep within us and are waiting to be shared. Informed by my lived experiences and my clinical work, I am currently co-authoring a book parenting at the intersection of raising children of color who are neurodivergent. I am a proud mamma bear to two wonderful kids. Partnered with my best friend for over 18 years, we are also raising an adorable Australian Sheperd, Labradoodle mix Bagelz. My resilience practices include hiking, cooking, meditation, napping, binge-watching shows, and being out in nature.
